Sundays coming

posted by: Pastor McCoy

I’m so excited about this Sunday. I believe God is going to pour out his Spirit on us as we gather to worship. Our choir ONE VOICE will be singing and I am starting a  new series on Unity. My first sermon is Unity–the commanded blessing. Unity with God and others brings the blessing of the Lord on our lives. I look forward to seeing you hear as we worship Jesus together and receive the commanded blessing of the Lord.

Stay focused

posted by: Pastor McCoy

Some one ask me not long ago what is the key to being blessed? My answer was short and sweet STAY FOCUSED. Staying focused on Jesus brings blessing into our lives. The one thing the enemy wants to do is get our focus off Jesus and get us looking at the situation were  in. Step back today and refocus your focus. Colossians 3:2–Set your affection on things above, not on the things on earth.

Oh what a day we had at F.F.C.O.G on Sunday. There were several who came to Christ and some who came and rededicated their lives to Jesus. The worship was wonderful and the power of God was so strong. God is so good and its refreshing to see the Lord leading us in a new direction. To God be ALL THE GLORY AND PRAISE!!

Our Greatest Gift

posted by: Pastor McCoy

Matthew 2:11 Says–and when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his Mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

1)Gold— Kingship

2)Frankincense–Priesthood.

3) Myrrh–Death and burial.

The wise men gave Jesus these wonderful gifts but the greatest gift they gave him was themselves. They bowed their knee and worshipped him. Jesus wants one thing for Christmas–YOU!
